The portion of the RMA instructions you are referring to is:
"There will be an additional $35 fee for cleaning and disinfecting bidet seats that are received in extreme unsanitary conditions regardless of warranty status so please ensure that your bidet is in sanitary condition prior to sending in for service."
The reason being is that if a bidet is received in an extremely unsanitary condition, our technicians must spend additional time cleaning and disinfecting the bidet before beginning testing which takes up additional time and materials.
As long as the bidet has been wiped clean enough for our technicians to work on it, there will be no additional cleaning fee assessed.
